IBK Bank to Hold First Half IBK Changgong Demo Day with 28 Companies Including Aldeba, Impactive AI, and SecuWorks

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 20th that it will hold the 2023 first half demo day of its startup incubation platform 'IBK Changgong' on the 28th and 29th at the IBK Finance Tower in Eulji-ro, Seoul.
This demo day is the final event of the first half incubation program, designed to provide opportunities for companies to present their achievements and discuss investment and collaboration. A total of 28 companies will participate in IR pitching to introduce their products and services, and promote their businesses through booth exhibitions.
Additionally, a separate networking space will be set up to provide opportunities for large, medium, and small-sized companies, as well as venture capitals (VCs) looking to explore new business ventures or discover investment opportunities, to interact with IBK Changgong companies. The event will also support companies in developing investment attraction strategies through one-on-one consultation booths with investment managers from 11 VCs.
The demo day on the 28th will feature companies such as Sangoon, Tyroscope, YOLO, Aldeba, Cosmoslab, Agos Vision, H2K, Cosolus, DeepPlant, Flexigo, Impactive AI, Dogugonggan, The Gam, and Weraser. On the 29th, participants will include Wired Company, SecuWorks, Power Player, Korea Fisheries Technology Research Institute, Teamplug, MyLink, Featuring, YOL, WeMeet, HomeFit, Seoul Dynamics, PAP, IntoC, and Tilda./p>
Notably, this event will introduce a European expansion consultation booth to examine participating companies' overseas expansion strategies and local business feasibility, offering opportunities for consultation with representatives from Germany's Saarland state and economic promotion agency.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Jürgen Barke, Deputy Prime Minister of Saarland, Germany (28th), and Woo Chung-hee, CEO of InterVest (29th), providing insights on global orientation to startups preparing for global value pursuit and market development.
The event will be held in a hybrid online-offline format and will be broadcast live through the IBK Changgong YouTube channel or the Eventers webinar channel. Registration is available until June 29th on the IBK Changgong website (www.ibkchanggong.com).
An IBK official stated, "We planned this demo day for startups who have been eager for overseas market entry since the pandemic," adding, "We hope this event will serve as a starting point for overseas expansion and a new opportunity to strengthen global competitiveness."
Meanwhile, from December 2017 to the end of April this year, IBK Changgong has nurtured 612 companies, providing 1.1514 trillion won in investments and loans, 9,021 non-financial services including mentoring, consulting, and IR support. It continues to expand global expansion opportunities through networking and one-on-one consultations with public institutions supporting global expansion, seminars on U.S. market entry strategies, and global demo days.
